We test every platform
so you don’t have to.
EveryCent is Kenya’s most honest, research-backed guide to earning money online. We are a small team of writers, researchers, and digital workers — all based in Kenya — who have personally used the platforms we write about.
Why EveryCent exists
EveryCent was started out of frustration. Like many Kenyans, our founder spent hours searching online for honest answers to one simple question: “Which platforms actually work in Kenya and pay out reliably?”
What they found was a sea of recycled blog posts — most written by people who had never logged into the platforms they were recommending, copy-pasted from international sources that did not account for Kenyan payment methods, mobile data costs, or local banking realities.
So we built EveryCent to fill that gap. Every guide we publish starts with a real account, real tasks, and a real withdrawal attempt. If a platform does not pay Kenyans, we say so clearly. If it does, we show you exactly how.
“Our mission is simple: give every Kenyan the honest, practical information they need to earn a real income online — without the hype, without the affiliate-driven bias, and without wasting their time on platforms that don’t work here.”
Since launching, EveryCent has grown into one of Kenya’s most trusted resources for online earning guides. Our readers range from university students looking for a side income to full-time professionals who want to diversify beyond their salary.
Our content focuses on what matters to Kenyans
We do not write about everything. We focus exclusively on topics that are directly relevant to Kenyans who want to earn money online or manage their finances more effectively. Our core coverage areas are:
How we research and write our guides
Every article on EveryCent goes through a consistent, multi-step research process. We do not publish guides based on other websites’ information alone. Here is how each guide is made:
We create a real account
Before writing anything, a member of our Kenya-based team signs up for the platform using a Kenyan phone number, ID, and payment method. We go through the actual onboarding experience you would go through.
We complete real tasks
We do not just read the platform’s FAQ page. We complete actual tasks — surveys, micro-jobs, freelance projects — and document the real pay rates, task availability, and user experience from inside Kenya.
We test the withdrawal
The most important test: can you actually get your money? We attempt withdrawals via M-Pesa, bank transfer, and other methods available in Kenya, and we report exactly what happened — including fees and wait times.
We write clearly and honestly
Our writers are briefed to report what they actually found — not what the platform’s marketing page says. If a platform doesn’t work well for Kenyans, we say so clearly, even if it means a negative review.
We update regularly
Online platforms change quickly. We review and update our guides at least once a year — or sooner if a platform changes its Kenya availability, payment options, or policies. Every guide shows its last updated date.
Written by Kenyans, for Kenyans
EveryCent is built by a small, dedicated team. Everyone on our team lives and works in Kenya. We understand the local context — from mobile data costs in Nairobi to reliable internet availability in Kisumu — and we write with that in mind.

Our editorial standards and disclosures
We believe our readers deserve to know exactly how EveryCent operates, how our content is produced, and how we generate revenue. Here is a full and honest explanation.
🔗 Affiliate Links Disclosure
Some articles on EveryCent contain affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and sign up for a platform, EveryCent may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
We want to be clear: affiliate relationships do not influence our reviews or recommendations. We have written negative reviews of platforms that have affiliate programmes, and we have recommended platforms that do not. Our editorial process is the same regardless of whether an affiliate relationship exists. All affiliate content is clearly disclosed in the relevant articles.
📢 Advertising Disclosure
EveryCent displays advertisements through Google AdSense and other ad networks to help fund our research and keep our content free. Advertisements are clearly separated from editorial content and are always labelled as “Sponsored” or “Advertisement.”
Advertisers have no influence over which platforms we review, how we rate them, or what conclusions we reach. Our editorial team and our advertising operations are completely independent of each other.
✅ Accuracy & Corrections Policy
We strive to ensure that every figure, platform availability status, and payment detail in our guides is accurate at the time of publication. We update guides regularly to reflect changes.
If you notice an error or outdated information in any of our articles, please contact us at hello@everycent.co.ke and we will review and correct it promptly. We are committed to accuracy and take corrections seriously.
⚠️ Earnings Disclaimer
The income figures mentioned on EveryCent — in guides, calculators, and examples — are estimates based on real user data and our own testing. They are provided for informational purposes only and are not guarantees of income.
Actual earnings vary significantly based on your skills, available time, internet connection, the platform’s task availability in your area, and many other factors. EveryCent is not responsible for individual outcomes. Always do your own research before committing significant time or money to any platform.
